Murmur started because one of us dictates everything and spent longer fixing the transcript than she would have spent typing it.
What we believe
Software should finish the job.
Most voice tools stop halfway. They hand you your own words back with the stumbles intact and call it done, which leaves the actual writing — the cutting, the ordering, the tone — exactly where it was.
We think a tool should take the messy thing you said and give back the thing you meant. That is harder, it needs models running on your own machine, and it is the only version worth building.
We are two people. We ship one app. There is no roadmap deck, no funding round and no plan to sell you a second product next year.
